From You (The Client):

  • Payment information (processed by Stripe — we never see your card details)

  • Your customer database (emails, names, purchase history)

From Your Customers (During the Campaign):

  • Whether they opened emails

  • Whether they clicked links

  • Whether they replied or unsubscribed

  • Any responses they send

Automatically:

  • Email delivery status (bounces, spam complaints)

  • Basic email software analytics

How We Use This Information

Your business information:

  • To communicate with you

  • To run your campaign

  • To provide the service you paid for

Your customer data:

  • Only to send the 3-5 emails in your campaign

  • To track responses and meet our guarantee

  • To clean up bad email addresses

Analytics data:

  • To improve campaign performance

  • To track guarantee metrics

  • To create anonymized case studies (with your permission)

How We Protect Your Data

We take reasonable security measures:

  • Your data is stored on password-protected systems

  • We use reputable email software with security features

  • We don't share your customer list with anyone

  • We delete data after the campaign (unless you want to keep it)

Stripe handles all payments: We never see or store your credit card information. Stripe is PCI-compliant and handles payment security.

Who We Share Data With

We only share data with:

  • Email software providers (like Mailchimp): They need your customer emails to send the campaign. They're bound by their own privacy policies.

  • Stripe: Processes your $500 payment securely.

  • No one else: We don't sell, rent, or trade your data. Ever.

Exception: We may disclose information if required by New Zealand law or to protect our legal rights.

Your Customer's Rights (NZ Privacy Act 2020)

When we email your customers, they have rights:

  • Unsubscribe: Every email has an unsubscribe link

  • Access: They can ask what data we have about them

  • Correction: They can ask us to fix incorrect information

  • Deletion: They can ask us to delete their data

    If your customers contact us with these requests, we'll handle them promptly and notify you.

Your Rights (As Our Client)

You have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you and your customers

  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information

  • Ask us to delete your data after the campaign

  • Withdraw consent (though this may affect our ability to deliver the service)

  • Complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner if you think we've breached the Privacy Act

Data Retention

During the campaign (30-60 days):

  • We keep everything to track the guarantee and run the service

After the campaign:

  • We delete your customer data unless you specifically ask us to keep it

  • We keep basic records (your business name, payment info, campaign results) for accounting and legal purposes

  • If you gave permission, we keep anonymized results for case studies

How long we keep records: At least 7 years for tax/accounting purposes (NZ legal requirement).

Anti-Spam Compliance (NZ Law)

All emails we send comply with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007:

  • Clear identification of who's sending the email (your business)

  • Accurate subject lines

  • A working unsubscribe link in every email

  • Your business contact information

Your responsibility: You confirm that your customers have an existing relationship with your business. We're not sending cold emails to strangers.

Cookies & Website Tracking

Our website: We don't currently have a website with tracking. If we add one later, we'll update this policy.

Email tracking: The email software may use tracking pixels to see if emails are opened. This is standard practice and helps us meet the guarantee.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll email you. Check the "Last Updated" date at the top to see when changes were made.

International Data Transfers

Your data stays in New Zealand or is processed by reputable services with NZ/Australian servers where possible. If data goes overseas (like to Stripe or Mailchimp's servers), we ensure they have adequate privacy protections.

Children's Privacy

Our service is for businesses only. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years old. If your customer database includes minors, you're responsible for compliance with relevant laws.
